Welcome to the dr.dermacare question and answer page. We have endeavored to answer most of your questions about clear & confident and the ordering process. What is dr. dermacare?
dr. dermacare is a skincare brand founded by Emma Johnson. All our products have been specifically designed for the treatment of pimples and acne scarring. We are also the  New Zealand distributor of the dr. dermacare dermaroller which we supply to trained professionals i.e. doctors (www.dermaroller.co.nz ).

However our passion isn’t just skincare, we also specialize in the psychology of problem skin, hence the term ‘psychodermatology’ used in our logo. We are about helping people of all ages fight the self esteem issues sometimes associated with acne and acne scarring. If you have any concerns about your acne and if it is affecting how you feel about yourself then please contact us and we will do our very best to help.

How long will it take for me to see results?
Your skin will feel smoother and cleaner after just 7 days. However you will need to use clear & confident for 7- 8 weeks to get the best results. Remember it is important to be patient with a new pimple fighting regime as it can actually take up to two weeks for a zit to reach the surface of your skin. Don’t worry you will be rewarded for your patience!

Can I purchase clear & confident from the chemist or other outlet?
Not at this stage, our products are only available online, this helps us to keep the costs down which makes the product more affordable for you. We can courier to any location throughout New Zealand and post anywhere worldwide.

Can I buy the products separately?
Yes, if you run out of one of the products we can sell you each product separately. Click here to see our reorder form

Are the products sent in plain packaging?
Yes, all packages are sent in a courier bag and there are no identifiable terms used on the label. No one will know what you have ordered so no need to be embarrassed about having your order couriered to a work address.

How long will the products last?
Depending on use, you receive enough products to last you up to 2-3 months

What if I am allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide or Glycolic Acid?
If you have used either of these ingredients before and have had an adverse reaction, then we recommend you do NOT use clear & confident. If you are unsure please call us for information on conducting a ‘skin test’.

Will I get an allergic reaction?
A very small number of people may react to the Benzoyl Peroxide or Glycolic acid. If you feel you may be getting any adverse reaction stop the application and contact us. You will be covered by our money back guarantee* if this should occur.

Will clear & confident dry out my skin?
A very small number of people may notice mild drying or mild irritation, but this should only be temporary If you have an existing skin condition e.g. Eczema, then you should not use clear & confident. We also sell a fantastic hydrating moisturizer that we strongly recommend you use in conjunction with clear & confident.

Can my spots be cured?
Unfortunately there is no cure for pimples. However, by using the right products you can keep your blemishes at bay! Beware of anyone who offers to sell you a ‘cure’

Do I need to moisturize?
Yes. It is important to keep your skin hydrated, even when you have pimples. We strongly recommend our oil free moisturizing gel or our amazing hydrating serum our dermaroller website.

Ordering and shipping

How do I order?
You have several options for ordering: On the ORDER page of the website click on the ‘BUY NOW’ button and follow the instructions. You can pay by credit card or direct debit or cheque. If you pay by cheque you will have to wait 7 days for the cheque to clear before we send you your products. If you prefer you can phone 0800 235 236 and order over the phone.

Is it safe and secure to order online?
Absolutely! If you choose to order with your credit card, it is 100% secure. We use ASB Bank Cardpay to process your orders safely and securely.

I would like to pay by cheque, can I still order online?
Yes, on the ORDER page of the website click on the BUY NOW button and follow the instructions. However, you will receive your product faster if you pay by direct credit.

Can I pay by direct credit?
Yes, just follow the instruction on the order page and click the ‘direct debit’ button for instructions after you have created your account.

I would like to order from overseas?
If you are ordering from overseas, you can only order online using either MasterCard or Visa or Paypal We will send confirmation once the package has been posted to you.

How much will it cost to ship my order?
Currently all shipping is free within New Zealand and worldwide

How can I be sure my order has been received?
You will be sent an email with your order details, this is confirmation that your order is being processed.
